Meet The Trainer
Hey there! I’m Emily Johnson, the Training Director in Denver, CO. I’ve always been a dog person, and have been working with dogs since 2012. During my undergraduate in MN I worked part time at dog daycares, provided private dog sitting services, and even fostered dogs. Upon completion of my B.S. in Ecology, Evolution, and Animal Behavior, I spent a year working with cats for Purina in MO and was also published as a coauthor on a study in the journal of Animal Behavior. Since joining the Through the Leash team I have had the privilege of working with some of the best trainers and people I’ve ever met. I hope to serve the Denver community with passion and integrity, and I look forward to meeting you!
